Blithfield
Blithfield Parish comprises the hamlets of Admaston and Newton, the most notable of the features of the Parish being Blithfield Hall The Hall stands in rolling parkland in the Blythe Valley and since 1086 has been the home of the Bagot family and their ancestors, the de Blithfields. It was restored in 1948. It should be noted that Blithfield Hall is no longer open to the public. The Abbots Bromley Horn Dancers perform on the lawn in front of Blithfield Hall every September.

Blithfield Reservoir was opened by H.M. Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother in 1953. The reservoir has an active Sailing Club, offers excellent fishing and glorious walks. Members of the West Midlands Bird Club find relaxation and interest here and it is also a popular area for picnics and family outings.
