Things to do & places to visit

Britain’s boldest environmental project, the ‘National Forest’ encompasses much of East Staffordshire and this magnificent 200 sq mile forest in the making, is bursting with places to visit. In addition to being a haven for walking, cycling and horse-riding there is also the thrill of a visit to the races at Uttoxeter Racecourse, a brush with the past at Tutbury Castle, historic houses and the meandering canal network to explore.
