the Washlands
As the name suggests, the Washlands lie on the flood plain of the River Trent in Burton upon Trent. East Staffordshire Borough Council manage the site to provide an area of open space for wildlife and recreation.
The Washlands are free to visit and are a great place to see wildlife, relax and enjoy a walk or cycle ride.
