Claymills Victorian Pumping Station

One of Britain's largest restored victorian steam pumping stations. Two large beam engines and over 20 other stationary steam engines in operation. Victorian steam and engineering technology can be seen in operation here. The site also has the oldest working electrical generator in Britain.

Children's activities including model traction engine rides. Also refreshment area and second hand bookshop.
