Autumn Woods at Yoxall Lodge

Following on from the success of the annual spring bluebell walks, Yoxall Lodge is now open in the autumn.

Follow the same paths and marvel at the changes that have taken place over the summer and into the autumn as nature prepares for the winter ahead.

Enjoy the soft autumnal air as you meander through the woodlands, with fallen leaves crunching underfoot. Ripe fruits and berries are in abundance and the vast array of fungi on the damp, earthy woodland floor and adorning the trees is quite spectacular.

The woods are set ablaze by the stunning autumn colours as the trees put on their final show of glorious golds, rich reds and russets before the onset of winter.

As a reward for your efforts why not indulge in a slice of delicious homemade cake or enjoy a mug or hot soup in the marquee.
